Winter Fuel Payment and Pension Credit

Rules for who receives the Winter Fuel Payment are now stricter than previous years. Funds will be reserved for people of State pension age receiving a specific list of benefits. One of those is Pension Credit - and some 880,000 eligible UK households fail to claim this benefit each year. Citizens Advice South Warwickshire is encouraging people to check eligibility or to contact us for help with a benefit check. It’s important to do this soon.
