This week is national ‘Stop Loan Sharks' Week.

‘Loan Sharks’, another term for illegal lenders, exploit the vulnerable and ruin lives. They charge extortionate rates of interest, may use violence to collect their debts, and often make it impossible to pay off all you owe. Combatting them can feel scary but doing nothing can feel worse.
